FL studio MIDI lag

i get lag while loop recording in fl studio its weird because the buffer length is set at 12 ms and the note seems to be far behind when the pattern starts again,when i watch clips on youtube of people loop rec. this doesnt happen any thoughts on the situation??

maybe too many other programs open besides fl studio...just a guess

if you dont have asio already download asio4all then set it as the audio driver in FL and try reducing the buffer until you get low latency
