How do you get an instrument to gradually switch channels from left to right?

I think you do it when you are recording...I was recording sumthing the other day and I messed with the volume and when I Played it over the volume changed so i'm guessing that could happen with the pan feature also...but that not 4 defo, just try it & please let me know if it worked or not.

You can change that in the channel settings, either "swap stereo" or at the tab "func" you click ping pong, whatever sounds better

You can also choose fade stereo to make it go from one side to the other once

I believe that is in the piano roll also... if you go to the menu bar in it you jump down the a sub menu where it has all the velocity, volume, panning, etc. Click on Panning and then you can control the panning from left to right in the bottom portion of the piano roll.

When I click on swap, it doesnt sound like its swaping

It always depends on the instrument/sample you got.
You can also try the panning, like someone suggested on here...

ahhh my friend you are tryin to do something ver complex indeed

when you say swap from left to right you want it to keep doing i assume

this is how

goto to the mixer and insert a Fruity formula controller plugin and whne the box comes up. change the preset to the basic sine preset

now right on the pan knob of the sound you know the stereo to swap on then click on link to controller

now a box should appear. inside that box, goto the drop down mean with internal controller above it then select the Fruity Formula controll that you inserted. now click accept then press play

i dont understand. I did the formula controller, then clicked on stereo to swap, then linked the sound to the mixer and nothing happened.

I think automation is the best way to do this.

Right click on the pan knob next to the sample on the sequencer, and create an automation clip with it. You have to arrange the automation clip on the playlist where you want the sample altered.

You can use automation clips on for fade in and outs for effects, volumes, and all kind of other things. Hope this was clear enough, but the FL manual describes everything i just said if you still dont get it.

stereo to swap, switches the left and right audio channels i think whut you wanna do is select fade stereo
