FL STUDIO - drums are muffled and quiet??

Hi

This always happens and i have no idea why. When i preview a drum sample in the browser, it sounds really good. Will be really loud and clear. When i load it in my channel rack it is quiet, muffled, and sounds horrible?
 
it could be your output audio settings? I'm not sure though, that's a strange situation and doesn't happen to me. Um, check your audio settings for the output. If you have asio4all use that.
