I wrote a song back in 2013 and recorded it in 2015. I have been "dusting" it off as I have learned how to mix and master the past few years and have come to my final mix this past week. I have noticed however that if I had a producer take it to the next level it could get somewhere maybe. Would it be weird to contact a few producers and give them the original track and see if they are interested in the project. The guy, is my age and might "get me" maybe not. He recently finished a project where he polished up demos. So that's another reason I think it's cool that I already have something I'm happy with just needs a revamp. I don't know still what do you guys think?
