A couple weeks ago, me and 3 friends booked a rental cabin in BC (Canada) for a vacation. Yesterday we sent 1/2 the payment to confirm our reservation.

Today I receive an email saying that the renter no longer feels comfortable renting to us because he now knows that I run a hip-hop website, and that they're canceling our reservation. Our vacation is basically f*cked because of this guys preconceived notions about hip-hop. :banghead:

After Drake they want nothin to do with hip hop

Lawsuit.

Well, if it's not actionable in Canada, at the very least, contact the newspaper in that area for a nice EXPOSED moment for that business.

Your way late in the on this one and yeah it sucks but doesn't cut as bad. Back in the day it use to piss me off when I was walkin with my radio (Radio Raheem pictured) bumpin my RUN-DMC, Grandmaster Flash and the Furious Five, UTFO, etc...and a white motherf*cka would ride by yellin "Ni**er" at me thats some prejudice sh*t.

Look at it like this though...is that the kind of person you want to give your money to? HELL NO! Keep it movin and find another spot.

how did they find your website....did you sign the check with whitehotpro.com? lmao

We had some correspondence via email, he must've looked my email address in Google or something.

you should really have a business email in addition to a personal one. Anyway imo you should just get your money back...and find another place. All this 'sueing' the dude isn't worth it....if the dude knows what he is doing..then he probably wrote in the contract that he can deny rental to people for ____ reasons....

Yeah lol I never really entertained that option, we just want our money back ASAP so we can put down-payment on something before it's too late.

But that's why you put him to the test.

What was the reason, sir?

Not enough people take action through appropriate channels (no vandalism, violence, etc.), and that's why Mr. Hilton is acting like this with impunity.

you'll never know what you can get until you hold their feet to the fire.. might as well try, im sure the story will pick up if its put out there.. at least i know where i am it would

Can you blame them?

For all they know, you might be shooting a video there...I'm just sayin...

You've been in this game long enough to know that (as much as we hate it) Hip Hop is unfortunately full of bottom feeders and troublemakers.

I mean, look @ all the BS junk emails that flood the inbox with people wanting free beats....again...I just sayin....
