EQ Automation in Pro Tools

how do u automate eq in protools? i want a simple high pass to 'sweep' on certain parts. i know how to automat volume and pan but not eq (if its possible in PT which im sure must be some how)??????
 
??? - or even automation on some plugins used in PT????
 
turn on the automation in the plug-in. I"m not in front of it now and I don't use pro tools much but there's either a drop down or something in the plug in you can click that will activate the automation. Then on the track automation the plugin should show up
 
What Czarthp said- go into the EQ plug-in- you will see up the top "Auto"- underneath that will be a box with two rectangles inside it overlapping- click on this- select the type of EQ you want and add it- now in the drop-down menu on your track where there is "Volume", "Mute" and "Pan" you should see your EQ option.
