Wassup FP Fam,

Just thought I share some new music since I haven't done so in a while.
So much good things have been happening so I've been extra busy to post!
Anyway, here's a dope 8-bit sample, I chopped up into notes, reversed, threw some crazy fx's and arpeggiators over, and recreated something cool I could see someone like A$AP or Wiz murder.

Sample: Jackie Chan - Action Kung Fu (NES SOUNDTRACK)

Beat: Arcadium (Produced By C. Justice)

This beat will be on my LP dropping this week entitled "Loosies" so make sure you cop that!

It doesn't even sound like the sample is in the song you could get away with sampling without paying....

Bro this shit is fire! You killed that sample. You can't even hear the sample. Nice job.

nice man. dig the "off" style. I always respected that style cuz its difficult to execute properly.

shit slaps.. where's that synth bass from if u dont mind me askin?

Dope flip! I can hear Freddie Gibbs spittin' over this aswell and the smoke video effect is awesome.

not really liking that kick -- it has like a weird "popping" sound; but everything else about this is fire

I agree, not really diggin the kick, this beat goes hard though. The bassline comes in nicely. I dig it bro!

The video looks great, I'm also diggin the smoke effect.

I would guarantee at least 95% of the users of this website have never paid for a sample.

sick beat. some of the hardest sounding kicks i've heard in a while.

idk what ur thought process is when u flip samples but this shit is crazy..coming with the heat as usual

Preciate the feedback fam, Def tried my best to mix it down as much as I can without loosing that "slap" I know it may sound weird on some speakers rather then others so i'm glad you beared with me, Finally mix down will be on my project once sent of for engineering. So it should sound better.

@ # 8 it's actually a sub bass I recorded in reason layered with a high sine synth. Then I brung the exported wav over to FL Studio and ran it through Guitar Rig haha came out dope

My process when sampling is to be as creative as possible without being limited to the foundation of the sample haha and to avoid publishing at all cost LOL

"My process when sampling is to be as creative as possible without being limited to the foundation of the sample haha and to avoid publishing at all cost" = REAL CREATIVITY

Yo this is dope, I could see the right MC killing this. My only piece of constructive feedback is that at times it feels a little mechanical. There's a certain element about leaving the high hat manual/sloppy - adds a human touch and can bring more soul to your sound.

@Freddy That's because I isolated like a second of the sample and then tuned it so I could play chords with it. I through some fx's over what I came up with. I also took a second snippet and reversed it a little, rolled off some of the lows, and throw some fx's on there as well lol

I tried to get a little more creative then my usually generic 16 bar chops lol

this beat really goes hard lol. not even gonna lie. and freddie gibbs would sound perfect on this.
