Does having too much stuff in a beat exist?

Think i did that correctly anyways is there a thing such as a limit to how much stuff you put in a mix?I was listenin to a dude called knucklesfreak and some of his beats i liked because they had a whole bunch of stuff goin on and it was funny as hell, especially the chicken/gunshots.

does adding a lot of drums ruin a track or add to it in most cases?

There is most certainly a thing as too much in a track, and it happens much sooner than you'd probably think.
