Honestly you dont even need turntables to dj. You can actually just use a keyboard and mouse. Depends how serious you want to get into the mixing aspect.

I have the Pioneer CDJ 1000's, but the Hercules DJ control AiR ( Midi controller ) is good for starting DJ's ( I also started with these )

Pioneer DDJ-SX. IMO the best affordable and durable DJ controller you can get, anything cheaper I find limiting in terms of ability. DDJ-SX runs around 1000 I believe. All internally digitally mixing style
