Hey… long time no post (haven’t posted here in over a decade).
After a long hiatus from making music I lost my marbles and started buying hardware again and setting up a home studio.
I have a numark pt01 scratch which I’ve modified and I can get some really nice cuts and scratches from vinyl, which is great.
My question is about scratching on digital media. I know a lot of people use Serato with serato hardware like a mixer and then add their scratches to vocal tracks during production to help give some extra vibe to a track.
I would like to start scratching and cutting on digital media. I’ve seen some videos with people using iPads to do it but they still had a mixer. Looking for software recommendations for iPhones or iPads since I don’t have a serato mixer. Honestly not really in tune with the DJ scene or advancements in tooling and technology.
Any help appreciated, or none at all lol
