When i go to my audo properties its telling me there is no audio device! I dont know what caused this. Is this fixable? I hope so since this laptop is not officailly mine im renting to own at rent a center. Someone out there please help!

It's pretty hard to say what you might have messed up...but it might be easier to help if you'd give us some specs. The "no audio device" situation sounds like you might have to reinstall audio drivers.

If running windows XP

go to your desktop, right click "my computer", click on the "hardware" tab, then "device manager" button, then look under "sound, video and game controllers" and look for a yellow icon. Right click the yellow icon, go to the "driver" tab, then to the "update" driver button, and let windows attempt to reinstall drivers automatically.

In advance, if that didn't make sense, read it a few times and just follow it step by step.

Specs as in??

Re-Installing driver, is that psychical work?

Specs as in, what soundcard you have, what operating system you're running, what drivers you might be using, etc.

As for the reinstallation procedure, sleepy provided a solution. Another one would be going to the soundcard manufacturer's website and find the newest drivers from there - there's probably a support section of some kind. They also should have some basic instructions on how to install the drivers.
