I've been rapping for a long time and enjoy trying out new things when it comes to vocal mixing and effects and have recently really gotten into these three rappers and can't quite figure out how they get this strange ambient reverb they use. If anyone can help me out that would be super dope!

Double tracking, reverb and delay I believe. Simple double tracking always creates an awesome vocal sound in my opinion. Essentially just recording the same vocal line twice in the same way and setting them in the stereo field. Alternatively a lot of people get great effects from double tracking with two slightly different vocal timbres/registers to get an almost inhuman voice.

double track, eq, compressors
i think thats enough to get that vox

two dubs panned left and right and the lead in the center, compressed and the reverb is timed to the track. Some voices just sound awesome when they're dubbed.

Anyone know of some great x64 bit VST's I can use for mixing Vocals* in Ableton Live 9 Suite?
