Alright so I’m an aspiring rap artist but I’m also forced to be a producer and mixing engineer out of necessity. I need some help mixing this (unmastered) song I’m working on. Could you give me any constructive criticism on the mix? Please speak in laymen’s terms because I’m an amateur without any training and knowledge about many technical aspects of mixing.
As for mastering, I’m probably going to send my song into a professional. I just want to mix on my own to save money and to maybe learn a thing or two along the way. Thanks guys!
