Can you EQ hihats?

I would like to finish my song but I can't seem to figure out how to EQ the shakers and tams. All of them are EQ'd already but I can't do that without high-passing them. It is really starting to anger me. Also my sub bass is wayyyy too low and I can't figure out how to EQ it to make it louder. I can't put it at a lower volume anymore because it won't go any lower. I am very confuzed about the EQ and if someone could help me master my drums that would be great. Everything is at the same volume. Thank you!

Why is everything at the same volume? What's wrong with high-passing the hihats?

EQ everything you can. EQ is what makes something go from sounding good to sounding outstanding.

Everything in the mix is set to alternate throughout the song so the volumes are set to what they need to be in the EQ. I low-passed some of the hihats to make sure they don't overpower the rest of the hihats.
