Can anyone help me with MIDI and Autotune on Logic Pro X

currently i am using Auto-tune 8 and Logic Pro X,

i am trying to make it so my vocals are auto-tuned by way of MIDI
every time i turn on the "target notes via MIDI" nothing changes

id like to make my vocals to be targeted by the MIDI so it can just target any note i sing rather than choose a key and try and sing in that key, its honestly very complicated to me
but I'm sure someone can help me, please let me know how i would accomplish this through Logic Pro X

I'm not familiar with Logic but I think you'll have to insert AT in the audio track with the vox and then you'll have to create a MIDI track and select AT as it's output/destination. That's the way it works in Cubase and I guess in other DAWs as well.
