Have you heard of object writing? It's a great technique to get your creative juices flowing again. Just google it or check out Pat Pattison's Writing Better Lyrics for the full-on description.

Also, it helps to realize that lyric-writing is hard work and can take very long, depending on the melody. I spend days on writing rap lyrics for example. That's normal. I'm no lyric genius, so I
just have to put in the hours. Don't get discouraged, just work on it long enough and it will come to you. And if not, you will still have learned something for your next project
