i would take things one by one
like one day you learn there should be no clipping the other day you learn something else and so your music keeps becoming better and you feel the progress instead of the critics
and soon you don't care about professional critics all you care about to have some good composition and make a reasonable mixing/mastering, you care about how the fans feel about it not other producers, if the fans love it that is all what matters
there are those who say mp3 has no good enough quality but if the fans want mp3 i will save my files as mp fing 3 , and f the wav files and professionals
however as a professional producer you should try to grow as best as you can and be aware of everything
