A Dub is a Dub is a Dub.
Whether its done on a computer or not. If an artist does the tune for you its a Dub, if you got an acapella from the studio or wherever, then its a remix.
Black Chiney does have Dubs, but they take them and then remix them on hip hop beats or they will have the artist voice on the hip hop beat ( which I thin is stupid)

Black Chiney only get rating more than so in florida and with uptown crowd in the west indies. Is just recently now them a get real dub where they have artist come and voice it for them. When man like like GQ, Code Red, Matterhorn, Stone Love, and Karim have dub regular. Me not asking you. Me telling you.

First off let me say that I dont rate Black Chiney. Ive been to their partyies where they have played the first 10 min of their #5 Cd (I Think) at the dance, mix for mix. So i lost respect from them from then.
I have listened to the Clash with Matterhorn and it sounded to me like they used their old buds and put TM's name in it. I have also seen the video with them and Ward 21 in the studio recording "rhyme" on the Wangsta beat. So,I still say that those are dubs.
And now that I think of it, the dubs they used against TM were the ones from that # # Cd. Maybe Ill go listen to the CD again since I have since started remixing my sounds Dubs and see if I hear them different

don't get it twist. I'm not saying that nobody ever do a dub for them. I'm saying they aren't very respected in the industry and alot (keyword) of their dubs are more or less fake. They take a know records and drop in "black chiney" every now and then and call it a dub. That is not a dub as far as i am concerned, maybe you see it different.

I tried to listen to the way ELE said it and the words seemed to flow too nicely for it to be spliced, as did a lot of the other remixes they have.
But like I said, Im going to go listen again and maybe Ill hear it differently.

OK, I went and listend to #5 again and only actually heard Ele, Alozade and Beenie call Black chineys name. So yeah, I guess the rest of them were acapellas that they "got" from somewhere and remixed them.
Thanks for makin me loose even more respect for them kids, but I still have to admit, Dups is one creative MF.

All ways hated that hip hop/reggae sound mix $#!T from day one. Yeah some of their ish sound good but it get played out long time.
Bun out pirate artist. Then again Beenie is a ledgend, so mi respect him. But him still a pirate!
