I'm getting tired of waiting for my big samples to load so I purchased a SSD to cut down the load time of my favorite plugins (Mostly NI stuff and Trillian). I'm in the process of installing K8 Ultimate, so I thought this would be the perfect time to make this disk upgrade too. What I was hoping on doing is putting my favorite sampled instruments on the SSD by pointing them to the SSD upon install (if that's possible).
My question is simple. If you had a 120GB SSD, how would you set it up on your MAC?
