Some of my favorites(In ORDER!)

"Queen B!tch" by Lil' Kim

"So Hardcore" by Busta Rhymes

"Check Em'" Richie Rich

"Elevators" by Outkast

"We Will Rock You" by Queen(I know it's not Rap)

"Interlude" B.I.G.(Life After Disk 1)

"Mamacita" by Outkast

I could go on forever. Anyone with a hardware sampler who has never snatched those ill drums at the intro of the right song isn't doing it right.

I just look for open drum sounds and percussion sounds. Don't go with what is most popular but what you hear and like for yourself.

To add, you can also rip some from:

"Ante Up" by M.O.P. (listen closely and you'll find it through the instrumental)

"Shook Ones Pt. 2" by Mobb Deep

"Breathe & Stop" by Q-Tip

And a helluva lot of J Dilla, Madlib and Mobb Deep beats, believe it or not. I got a complete Mobb Deep kit built right off of them.(drums)

Plus, it wouldn't hurt to sample funk, break beats and jazz breaks you know.

i got a nasty ass clap from a guilty simpson song yesterday

rock records got alot of breaks.. and soul & funk records.
