Best affortable Midi/USB Keyboard Controller?

Hello guys,

I am currently looking for a very good midi / USB keyboard controller within a price range of 200-300 pounds (or dollars).

I would like to have 88 keys (if there isn’t 61 will do) midi / USB keyboard controller with a lot of controls of which it has a Play, Record, Stop buttons, a couple of knobs and drum touch pads that are easy to control on Cubase / Kontakt 5.

Something that might bring an installation CD where it connects the knobs / pads / buttons with Cubase.

Is there such a thing?

I don’t mind stretching the price to 350 (pounds or dollars) but I really would like a good one.

I would really appreciate if I could have some suggestions.

Also, is there any websites you would recommend to buy it from?

300 pounds is $500. You should definitely be able to find something for that price. I doubt you'll find an 8-octave controller at almost any price though. That's 96 keys and I've never seen one go past 88.
 
They're pretty nice, although I've only tried 'em at a store. Akai's MPK line was just updated (dunno when they'll be in the stores though), even the new Behringer offerings look pretty decent (and they have motorized faders!).
