beginner beatmaker/producer seeking help/aid

i currently use fl studio 12 and my beats are ok? i don't really know, i haven't really got feedback off other producers, im 16 and i kinda just started.
anyways can someone help me with mixing trap beats? and how to use automation clips? everytime i use an automation clip it either goes for the whole track or when i switch the pitch of a section, it keeps on switching. and any tips are welcomed!

Never learned how to properly automate in fl cept for a few plugins back when I still used it.

Sounds like you have a ways to go man but that's how it is when everyone starts! Keep looking up tutorials on youtube for these things that stump you and then just keep practicing making beats. They will get better in no time.
