My production style is more boom bap/90s/golden era hip hop. I was wondering what VSTs everyone would recommend to make some cool bass lines?

I really like the type of bass lines made by Nottz, Alchemist, Pete Rock, etc.

So far I've looked at SubLab and Waves Bass Fingers. Just want to do some more research before I spend money.

for 90's hip hop, any bass vst will do the trick, you just have to put a low pass filter on some of the presets, and play with the resonance sometimes

Hi, Kontakt and Maschine are two of the best plugins for hip hop that are also ideal for making trap beats. Both of them provide access to libraries that are perfect for the genre, often you can find libraries that have been made by famous trap producers.
