ATTN: Fantom X6 Specialist Needed!!

I know the Fantom X6 can be used as a USB Midi interface.. But, How can i run my MPC2000XL through the fantom to control Logic, reason, ETC!! I know i probably would have to change the system settings or something since i have to do that to change the mode for Usb to Midi!! PLEASE HELP lol!! Thanks

if you use the usb port on the fantom, you cannot use the midi in, out or thru. you would have a buy a midi interface, then midi out of you mpc to midi in on the fantom, then midi out from the fantom to midi in on the interface. to change usb or midi output, you hit menu>usb>in this tab you change at the very top with the rotary knob from midi to storage. once you hit storage your usb is no longer the "midi" control. if you have further questions e-mail me.

i have a question how do u use the effects cause i be having all these ideas but i cant get my effects to work right. like i see the chorus and the reverb but they have 3 more at the top thats have all the effects. need help

you have to change the mixer channel output to mfx 1,2 or 3.hit f6 from the mixer screen,then change the out put of that channel to the mfx you want.if its mfx 1,hit the effects button & change mfx 1 to the fx you want.its late hope this helps.

how do u eq? i cant get the eq to wwork. i change the settings but i dont hear any eq changes

what type of eq? the only type i know how to do is single track eq. go to mixer>effects(button)>now 3 mfx units show up pick one, route the desired channel to the mfx unit, then inside the mfx unit find a eq.
