Asr-10 plus bass guitar

i mean..hooking a bass guitar directly to the asr so i can sample the bass into an instrument track.
 
You'll probably want a DI box in between (to get the signal from the bass up to line level), but other than that it should work just fine. I'm using a SansAmp Bass Driver for the same purpose (not to an ASR, but recording a bass "straight" to a computer without an actual amp).
