Anybody else having promblems with installing to 64-bit Windows?

I tried installing my M-Audio Evolution for the first time since getting Windows 7 Ultimate 7 months ago. It won't take the CD-ROM or the updated driver on the website. I then got a brand new USB stick. It won't install that. I came to the conclusion that the drivers were made for 32-bit. I then got talked into paying for some $300 for two years service where some techs connect through your computer and troubleshoot. They said the same thing and installed some optimizer software I already had.

But...two months ago I successfully installed a 2 TB external with its backup software. I just tried Bluethooth my phone and there's no phone driver anymore while I had it two months ago with 7 Ultimate. Everything previously worked on this computer with Home Premium and Vista. I can install most software such as Driver Updater (which didn't solve the problem though it says all drivers are updated). I couldn't install Adobe Reader.

Has anybody had the same problem?

EDIT: did I put this in the wrong forum?
