Anyone heard of Master Writer? It's a program that helps you write lyrics. Just wondering - for those who have actually used the program - what are your thoughts on it?

ummmmmmmmmmm, wow... im gonna cop it, and the beatmaker vst, then i wont have to have any talent.
I wouldnt use something like it, the farthest i go is rhymezone.com sometimes, but hardly anymore, it helped build my vocab, but thats it, but now something that helps you write the lines? this is truley a sad time in music

Yeah...if you let a program dictate how you write then you're losing something important, your creativity.

exactly, cuz thats just one or a few peoples take on how a line should be written, you could train your self the same way just by copying someone elses flow, and place your lyrics, ya know, multies in the same place, syllable count, that to me would help build skill easier then using software

I say do whatever's needed to develop your skills, but always strive to develop your own style. Hey gutty what's up with that momma song? I'm still interested on how that's gonna turn out.

yeah dude a computer program isn't going to cut it......think of it as a machine that breathes oxygen for you, or what if i let the speech synthesiser (plug-in with the robot voice....) in fl studio spit all my flows for me.....lol...just put that one to thought >.<

Yeah man, hows a program gonna tell you how to flow with heart and emotion ? Man it's crazy the sh1t we got to make beats now, I wish I had this 15 years ago without dropping 50 G's on hardware.

I miss a phat beatbox behind a true freestyle. That's whats up main, respect the game, do it for the love of it.

I own it. Its not what it says it is.

It is basically a super-duper all in one, dictionary/ thesoraus/ryhme dictionary/famous quotes/ notepad. Id say that you should buy a dictionary ect...... and save your money. I do use it, but its not going to write a song for you. Buying the actual books and dictionaries would take up a little bit of room on your shelf, maybe about 5 or 6 books, but you would only spend probably 60 bucks max. Good program great idea but not worth it.

Like buying the all in one electronic when yo uhave all the seperate ones

camera, mp3 player, phone, lab top pc, dvd player. You have them already, seperatley but they still want to sell you a "smart phone" or PDA at every mall you go to with features that do exactly what youve been doing. Yeah its convenient but again not worth the money.

Man , the Internet really ****@d the game for real. What happened to pure skill based on life experience ? kids don't even have to go to school anymore, the net is like a personal library but only theoretical knowledge and no experience. I find myself falling in the trap too, we need to get out, get up, and do something. Merry X-mass pimps, hold it down, FP fam bitche$ hold it down thanks for the knowledge , I feel wealthy in this b1tch.
I'm continuously cooking that Gumbo.

versitileone, at the end of your blog you have a quote that reads "music is food for the soul". robots dont have souls.those tools are robitic devices. any writing websites or software that claim to help you express what only the soul is gifted to will maybe give you some ideas but wont help you tap into that realness found only in the mind and soul of the real artist.
