I'm looking into making the move from PC to Mac (aka Cubase to Logic) and I don't want a laptop, the new Mac Pro seems too much to me, so that leaves the desktop iMac. (I'm currently looking at the 2.9Ghz 21.5" or the 3.2Ghz 27")
In doing a few internet searches about which spec might be best for music production I came across a few threads on forums which discussed quite a few people having problems getting their hardware to work properly with the USB3. As I use Maschine and a MIDI keyboard via USB, and likely a USB audio interface (although may be Firewire as I need to upgrade anyway), it's going to be important that there aren't connectivity issues with this.
I was wondering if anyone else has experienced this or if they've had good/bad experiences using this Mac for music production?
