What kind of music does alchemist sample to make his beats? Its not oldies i dont think but his beats always come out sick. Does anyone noe?

he uses anything and everything, there was a vid when he sampled a swedish singers album i believe. he has bruce lee vinyls lol. he just samples anything he can get his hands on.

he is a great sampler, more than that, producer because he makes something out of anything

one of my favorites, samples anything he can get his hands on.

he uses a lot of spanish records. theres this video of him on the net where he talks about the types of music he likes to use.

dam thas crazy hes one of my fav producers i think hes underrated

i wouldn't say underrated...everybody i talk to gives him major props...maybe in a commercial sense

Alchemist is a beat makers producer. That's what I love about his work. He has a real good ear. The samples he chooses are bannanas (ex. We gon' make it)

alchemist fell off.

go on and hate, you know its true. since he sigend with shady hes been garbage.

\and stop asking who samples what... one, noone knows about their secrets, and two, most producers sample everything they think is tight, so you arent going to get an answer like 'oh yea he only samples artists with the letter f in their names.'

get your own style.

it would be better to study his drums and his bass, his sample flipping arent that much different from a lot of ther people.

I love the Alchemist. Period. "Serious" and "Book of Rhymes" are some of the sickest beats ever concieved.

Alchemist is the bomb
Signed at Shady or not Signed at Shady

His productions are just Sick

I don't believe he's signed to Shady.

He was Eminem's DJ on tour for a cool minute, I believe.

Search alchemist on youtube there is a vid (interview) of him going through some records...smoking greenery, and describing his process...It has multiple parts and will answer your questions better than we can...

but he did say he uses a lot of spanish records...

His most popular songs come from European library records, Japanese pop, jazz/ soul from the 70's, american pop from the 70's and your standard soul records from the 70's

nas - revolutionary warfare was the dopest joint he ever produced.. last thing i heard from alchemist was prodigy's - h.n.i.c. 2 and it was kinda weak on the production side
