Good question I've heard plenty of well...dudes say females killed hip hop and now you're saying music in general. For mainstream artists yea. I watched an interview with a lead A&R at Slip-N-Slide and he pretty much confirmed my suspicions. Any new rap artist has to make songs 'for the girls.' But see I don't think it's fair to blame women because they just like us aren't given very many options on the radio. The execs and decision makers force feed what they think we will tolerate or want. It's pretty crazy.

good point but tell me a woman (yea of course there the odd few that do) who cares of the substance of a song as opposed to the song can make the dance even if the lyrics are some retarded ass **** i mean thats fine but to try and base all music around that just cuz its whats selling is bull****.

Whoever females like (Lady Gaga, Chris Brown, Rihanna, etc.) will sell -- very few girls I know seem to understand how to download a high-quality album from Lymewire, Bittorrent, or Rapidshure.

Also, blowing money has been a female skill for decades. Ever take your girl to the mall? I promise you... if it's your money... you will cry.

SMH... When will people realize that there's a categorical difference between music that sounds good and music that sells well? The quality of the music doesn't single-handedly how well it will sell. If you're making money for profit, you're constructing the music to a completely different set of rules and goals that if you are trying to make something interesting.

yea basically you got it right i smh everytime im in one of my buddies rides and there is a cd hes purposely hiding i pop it in its all **** you wouldnt never have him admit hed listen too ask him and he says "its in case i girls in the car" :rolleyes: pretty weak you ask me...
