Akai MPD 26 with FL Studio

Are there any good uses for An MPD 26 with FL Studio? Can I mix tracks on it using FL studio or just use it as a midi instrument?

you can mix with everything, velocity sensitive pads will also work for leveling as well as faders and knobs.

Ya, from research this product works well with ableton. I only really understand Fruity Loops but I can learn new things. thanks for the help.

i use the mpd32 in flstudio. i use the sliders to control my drum mixing. i also use the rotary knobs for vst parameters, they have a good feel to them, better than the ones on my novation impulse 61.

you could use FPC to use it kinda like a mpc. you can add samples to each drumpad

sweet, thanks! I've been using it to play melodies but i want to be able to mix with it like Nosaj Thing. Do I need Ableton to do that?
