Absynth 4

Anyone pick it up ? I tried it and I have absynth 4 and it seems absynth 3 has more appeal although absynth 4 is more stable.
 
What exactly do you mean with "more appeal"? I don't think anything was removed in 4, only added.
 
I think the new sound engine lacks something, I don't even know if the sound engine is new just whenever I turn on absynth 3 it was hard to turn off and it seem like a one of a kind VST while abynth 4 just seems like a boring upgrade of absynth 3.
 
Yeah, I have to agree that the new features aren't that exciting - except, of course, the morphing and the free-assign mod matrix.
 
well i didn't like absynth 3 and as such i aint gonna bother with 4 from what i see here
 
I need to learn more about 3. The preset patches are very sci-fi, but the sound quality is amazing.
 
sci-fi sounds are sweeeeeeeeeet! just process then

When I wanted to learn Absynth 3 - didn't take long they are all universial. just sit down and mess around with it.. try not to make music. it's easy to learn
 
I (try to) make sci fi music. I already have Atmosphere, so I'll try and pick Absynth up when I get the money.
 
Once u get past the fact that the presets are presets and that its a synthesizer that will benifit u when u program your own sounds you will discover Absynth is a great tool in the arsenal. Get the tutorial dvd from NI. I used to use Reason for my soft synth but after copping Komplete 4 it is collecting dust
