Ableton Question Reduce Size Of Songs

Hey as some of you may know and already have the answer, when I finish my song in Ableton and export it the size of the song is ridiculously big when most songs are just a few mb's but these are turning out to be like 40 - and 50 mb songs. Please help me if you can.
 
Live renders only in .wav files...you'll need to use something else to convert to mp3...best free one would be Audacity..
 
Wav files are typically bigger because they are uncompressed. An mp3 will be smaller since its compressed....

That they're exactly what they're supposed to be :) With hd space being as cheap as it is and various cloud-based backup services available, there shouldn't really be a need to compromise your quality at any phase - leave mp3s for the internet and keep everything else lossless. If you really need to save space for archived stuff, consider using FLAC or other lossless compression formats.
