Not sure if this is the right forum, but I'm still trying to figure out the key and midi mapping features in Ableton 8. A specific problem I'm having is creating a keyboard shortcut for the "Copy value to siblings" in drum rack. When you right click on transpose or something while in the key map mode, "return to default" will be faded out, showing that it's already mapped, so I figure I should be able to map other features in the right click menu. However, as far as I can tell, the key/midi map features/parameters are extremely over-simplified and aren't versatile enough to become useful. For example, you can't map the same function twice in order to have an up and down key (opposite different min and max ranges). If someone could school me on mapping I would greatly appreciate it.
