100% cpu usage HELP

Hey guys im using fl studio 12 and since upgrading ive been having major issues with cpu performace, ive got an i5 4690k, so i dont think its the cpu but when opening a project, exporting a track or just having fl open cpu usages are at 90 - 100 % usage from fl alone. Im not interested in leaving fl if one f you was thinking of saying that btw :o but need help cause pcc keeps freezing and lagging as well.

I had issues with Pro Tools years ago, when I was using a Windows computer to run PT5. Turned out the chipset on the motherboard was incompatible. But, I'd look at the RAM first before going down another road.

If you can, let us know the spec of you computer, to further help you out ;)
