10 Commandments <---- New Beat!!! Need feedback for Contest F4F

Hey guys, i made this beat for a contest i'm in.
last month i ended up 5th, so that motivated me alot.
I would really like to get some feedback on this.
I used a piano sample, and put an guitar on top of it and some other sounds

nice job on the beat. I think the drums could use more kick and a few of the sound selections could have been better but it has a good composition overall.

nice beat man, i would say work on the drums a bit more.. try give them a little swing as they sound very mechanical / robotic.

also that snare i would change only cause i hate it... lol. i think its a snare from an old Alchemist drum kit that was floating around online. I could be wrong BUT yh.

I liked the piano sample, but I felt more could've been done with it personally. It's a nice chill, relaxed beat otherwise. Nice work.

Thanks for all your feedback, I quickly added a little swing to it, it sounds a little less robotic, I'll experiment with it when the time is there.

i like this- it's chill
i think the guitar should be a bit softer or mixed in better, sounded a bit off
the choir that sometimes comes in sounds a bit off as well kind of pitchy
maybe add some echo for the speech parts as well other than that nice work

My only issue is the guitar. I see you were working towards a build up, however the key notes for piano and the guitars not matching.

So my ears feel like their listening in two different directions. Maybe try a different guitar, currently its taking up too much of the same space as the piano in regards to tones.

this is really nice, love the paino, but I think the drum sounds could be changed, maybe a bit of a faster hi hat. Everything else is great
