How do you make kicks sound like the drums from drakes marvins room?

Anybody know exactly how to get this effect?
 
Reverb, compression , High pass filter, Some touching up on the EQ, and sometimes a little distortion.

Idk about Marvins Room specifically, but I can tell 40 uses those tools and probably more when he does his kicks.
