anyone knows how did Mylo get that vocal glitch thing thats playing right from the start in his 'Rikki' song? also heard in RJD2 and some of prefuse stuff.

In an interview he had with Elton John, he said he used a free software tool to chop up his ex-girlfriends vocal on an old track she did.

Wish I new what it was though.

Well, I remember the song and I would say you can achieve this effect with every decent sequencer program. Just do a regular automation of the volume, that`s it!

Ohhh, of course it goes much easier with a program like Propellerhead Recycle! There you can import a loop and chop it into little pieces. Just erase some of them and ........ voilà, the stutter effect is perfect!!!
