How to make Siren/Sweep Effect in Reason 5 or Logic?

Hi guys and gals,

New to the forum.

I am trying to make a siren/sweep type sound in Reason but am having trouble. Has anyone one got any advice or a tutorial or anything?


the sound i'm trying to emulate is best heard in Skreams remix of "I Love You So" by Cassius. I cant post the link or video as i'm new. the siren/sweep that is heard when the drums kick start.
Any advice would be great

kinda sounds like just some white noise with heavy chorus..then comes the siren...which could be a mix of saw waves with a long attack

you can do this with any synth pretty much...
the sound themselves seem like they'd be simple...its the tuning, and ADSR settings that are key tho...you wana go for something with a medium-long attack..medium decay..short release...i would think..

it should help...the principals are all the same, but i use FL Studio, not reason..so that video should be good for ya
