I say matter of choice. "100% quantized" beats can sound good too, esp with all live instrumention creating a contrast between loose/tight. So whatever feel your going should be your groove. If you want a loose drum groove, push the high hats back. If you want a more up front groove push the high hats forward. If you want a sloppy/live feel move each hat around a few ticks, but do it a different amount for each. Only you can decide what groove your in the mood for you at the time your making it. Just follow your mood.
