Using the Yamaha Motif 6 with Cubase VST 4

Hi,

How can i import the yamaha motif 6 via usb using cubase vst 4?

I want to be able to hit a key on the keyboard and have it play on the computer as well as record to the computer so i can edit the file later...

You don't import the motif 6 into the computer, you are trying to use the motif as a controller from what it seems.

Do you have a midi interface?

The Motif's USB doubles as both a MIDI interface as well as a mountable USB storage device, if I recall correctly ... or is that only the ES series?
