TC M300 or DBX 266XL?

I'm getting one of these to throw in my rack unless anyone can recommend something better in the same price range. I heard a few good things about the DBX, but how does it compare to the M300, which also has reverb and a few other functions? I will be using this with my Motu 828 and Cubase Se. Thanks!
 
Well, I guess it comes down to this:

Do you want a cheap-ass compressor? Or do you want a cheap-ass reverb/FX box?

They're pretty different. What are you trying to do?

I'm just trying to add some compression to vocals while recording.
