You're going to have to be a LOT more specific there...
 
a signa processor is just about anything that changes your signal, Eq's Maxamizer Etc. all the stuff on that page does diferent stuff, you have an Eq...and well it does what it says, Eq's Frequenceis in your signal, then there is a maximizer that maximises your signal. makes it louder, you have a Pre amp. that add power to your Mic, guitar, eyc signals. the range from alot of this dude, thats just sum of the basics
