OK I am starting a project heavy metal band with a friend.
I need to see what I have to do to get his guitar into my computer.
First Question: Does Pro Tools LE REQUIRE a special kind of sound card or anything else to function?
Second: Assuming the answer to the first question is NO. Then what sound card and interface should I get to get my friends Guitar into Pro Tools for recording and mixing. I've only really seen Audigy 2 Zs with a internal panel for cheap.
I don't know too much about all this and I am extremely poor. I don't need to make a god-like recording I just want it to actually work.
I have:
Reason 2.5 (for making fun sounds and drum tracks)
Pro Tools LE
What else do I need?
