Presonus Eureka

Does anyone no about the quality and transparency of the Eureka?
I have not had a chance to use one yet, but the guy at our local music story says its pretty damn good....
But i dont trust him!
 
Trust your instincts,as for me thats actually the preamp i plan on getting
go to presonus website find the eureka read the spec and there is a few Really good interviews which influnced my decision and shoot if it sucks bring it back and get something else but IM confident its the best bang for the buck any thing cheaper iw wouldn't trust and anything more expensive i wouldn't touch ,like they say don't touch what you can't afford,lol.
 
It's pretty darn good. You only get better when you get to the $900 range. Not a bad tool at all for the toolbox.

Thanks, all the reviews ive read have been good. I just wasnt going to go for what the sales rep said.
 
I was doubtful at first before I bought the Eureka channel strip but for the price, it should be among the best in it's range and sound very clean too.
