Oh word, that's what I meant actually. The ASR-10 is used by many ill producers, Kanye like you said, RZA & Allah Mathematics, Illmind, Nottz too... I specially like what Nottz does with it, the sounds and all.
So I would use the MPC2000XL as sequencer and occasional sampler, and more importantly: as drum machine; and the ASR-10 as main sampler and keyboard to play some ill synths and FX. At a later time I would like to get a Moog as well to make some Dilla/Madlib sh*t, and maybe a Triton and an MV8000 to make some clean/futuristic sounds. But I think that for now the MPC2000XL/ASR-10 combo could do some great things
But is the ASR-10 ill to play some basslines and crazy FX's, you think?
