Monitoring and sampling with mpc 1000.???

I was under the impression i could hook it up with the AUX on a hi-fi.But i see it has all 6mm connections at the back.Any suggestions on a way to do this?I also thought i cud rec samples using a hi-fi , i was wrong.Basically i'm looking for an easy way 2 monitor and rec samples with the mpc 1000, without buying expensive equipment.

well yu can always get the adapters at like radio shack and chenge the wireing
im asuming yu mean using the red and white audio cables ...they have adapetrs for that...
