midi keyboard problems

I recently changed my SB live platinum with a terratec EWX 24/96. My problem is that when i play with my midi keyboard every once and a while i hear two notes while i play only one or i hear completely different notes...i didn't have this problem with the SB..maybe it's the settings but i have no idea about technical stuff..I use reason2,Cubase SX (or at least i try)...in windows XP.

That sounds like a MIDI echo problem. Check your settings for both your hardware and software for MIDI echo settings.
