Not too long ago I purchaced Oxygen 8.

I installed all the drivers and i hooked up the unit to my comp through USB.
I work in FL and i tried to work some VST plugins with the midi controller and it didn't work out.
Any thoughts on this one?
How can i record sounds using the midi controller in FL?

Did you make sure that FL MIDI device is set up to recieve on the proper MIDI channels coming from the OXYGEN USB drivers. Personally I don't use FL, I use Cubase SX but when Im controlling from a controller, you need to set it up first. You can't just plug it in and play. Go find out how to set up MIDI devices to recieve in FL.

When you are using a VSTi, the sound is triggered by the MIDI in event that is being sent by the controller.

i.e....You have a piano VSTi and you have it set up on one of your midi channels. (You should probably just set the midi ins to "all midi inputs" and set the parameter to whatever VSTi you have already set up such as the piano. Then, when you send a midi event (striking a key on the controller) it should make the VSTi sound off and record.

I made it sound more difficult than it is but thats all there is to it.
