Has anyone seen thier part on the dvd when he goes to see rick rubin?

When he's recording 99 questions, at one point jay is just standing inbetween a few curtain rails with a mic!

Does anyone care to enlighten me on this method of a vocal booth bcoz it just blew me away!

I always assumed u needed to record vocals in a closed area (i.e booth)!
 
It was probably recorded in a large booth but they sectioned that small area off with those shades to record vocals.

One of the great motown singers used to record her vocals in the bathroom of the studio. Nice ambient reverb, private, sounded good on tape...

Yeah I would find that extremely convenient if I had to take a pi$$! :D
